Research Interests

I am a condensed matter theorist. I study collective behaviour of many-particle quantum systems in the broad context of solid-state physics and ultra-cold atoms. Below is the list of my current research interests.
  • non-equilibrium quantum phenomena
  • strongly-correlated systems
  • frustrated magnetism, quantum spin liquids, Majorana fermions
  • topological phases, quantum Hall effect, fractional Chern Insulators
  • topological defects and textures, vortex and skyrmion lattices
  • random matrix theory
  • numerical algorithms for strongly correlated quantum systems, DMRG
